So, Apple have left out voice control from the 3.0 upgrade to keep it as a selling point for the 3G S - yet surely the phones are more than capable, even more basic phones have had some kind of voice control for years...

So what's the possibility that without getting a 3G S, we can get full voice control of the iPhone? (Without jailbreaking would be nice too)

And on a different note - I was watching the Echelon Conspiracy the other night there - most of the story revolves around a phone which is all CGI'd, however, there is one thing that caught my attention. At one point, the owner of the phone gets a small bluetooth earpiece that reads any SMS he gets to him (A SMS-to-Speech device). I think that's a bloody brilliant idea, even an app which could do this... would certainly help for when driving, and general ease of use. Possibility of one being made?

Sms to speech has been around for a while. Sony phones seem to have it ( my wife's does anyway).
