    I'm planning to buy a Sony KDL-40W5500.
It has a DTT Tuner with the specs: MPEG4 AVC/H.264 HP@L4.

I gather that this will receive the 4 Public Service DTT channels as currently transmitted.

My question is, "Does the spec of the TV's DTT Tuner ensure that I'll be able to receive the 4 Public Service channels from now on?"

Will the current "test service" be subject to technical changes that will mean that the DTT tuner on the TV will be defunct? Or is what they're broadcasting at the moment the finished article.
