    Hi

I am leaving Ireland in a few weeks and want to calculate how much tax I can expect back from the start of the year. Is there a online calculator or a quick way of working it out?

    Thanks

No online calculator I'm afraid- it's basically your annual credits divided by 12 and multiplied by the 5 months you're gone.

If you are going to be non resident next year you could fire a letter into your local district claiming split year relief which should hurry up the refund.

    Thanks Mr.C

Yeah I've no intention in returning so the quicker I get it the better.
