I thought Amazon had changed their policy regarding shipping electronic goods to Ireland.
Have you tried buying it from Amazon?

Yeah they have for most stuff. I tried to place an order for it just to see, and they wouldn't ship it to me. Funny it doesn't look to be over 30Kg in weight. :), must be some other obscure reason why not.

I bought 2.1 & 5.1 speakers on two separate occasions over the last month with out any problem & they were way heavier than the WD drive, they also fall into the electronics category.

Were you on the .co.uk of the dot com site?

Either way, that drive is 83 plus 7.50 pickup or 12.50 An Post, Max 95 on Komplett.

I meant that Komplett have a walk in pick up point in Dublin where you can collect your purchase instead of having it delivered to you address.

There is a 7.50 euro charge associated with that because of the fact that all their parts are shipped from Holland (or somewhere like that)

The charge is 12.50 if An Post have to bring it to you.

It's over in Blanchardstown. It's dead handy if there's no-one at home during the day, as you can pick it up on a Saturday.

I was wondering would it be possible to connect this hard drive to a wireless network so that laptops could connect to it wirelessly?

I currently use a wireless router for internet. Could I set up a network using the same router so that the laptops could access wirelessly?

If you use a router like this you can. Also the belkin usb hub is a possibility.
