membership without big fee

    does anyone know of any good clubs (north east) offering membership deals without having to buy a share option? i know seapoint louth are offering seven day membership for a year for 1800e. are there any others?even a six month deal would do just to get handicap. thanks in advance
    btw i did see similiar thread recently but it ended up becoming a row before any real info was given

    If you know someone who is a member of Seapoint, then financially its a bad decision to become a member, because a member can sign you in to play at any time for only €20. So if you play once a week for 50 weeks then if would only be costing you €1000. If your handicap is high 22+ then it's probably wise to take this route and get the practice in and then after the year work on your handicap.

    Although I ain't mad about Bellewstown, €900 a year probably isn't too bad if it's your handicap you are after. If you are under 25 then you can try and claim the student rate for €550. It's a half decent course. At least you got no big ego's at every corner like most other places around.

    Also check out Balbriggan, it reopened last week and supposedly is very very good, I am sure they will have some decent deals going around to attract new members.
