Is there any good bike shops in Limerick City that might stock Schwalbe tires?
    Need them tomorrow.

The only 2 good shops I know of are

    The Bike Shop
    O'Connell Ave
    (061)315900

and Cycling Pursuits on the Dock rd
    (061)307178

The rest seem to be el cheapo suppliers. I dont know if they will have those.

Cycling Pursuits are just el cheapo suppliers in disguise, absolute cowboys.
    Avoid at all costs.

The Bike Shop on O'Connell Street sells Schwalbe.

Siopa Rothar on John' Street is another good shop, but I don't know if they sell Schwalbe

    From Limerick and dealt with all three. In order of my preference;

Siopa Rothar. Very good shop, good knowledge. Haven't serviced or bought much myself there as usually go online to buy, but I know that its THE shop for the MTB scene in Limerick.

The Bike Shop, O'Connell Ave. Nice shop and nice guy. But service is usually slow and knowledge regarding road racers in general is low. I bought my Trek there but I'd go with the shop above for my needs now.

Cycling Pursuits. I'd argee with above comments, i.e. - not a great shop.

+1 On An Siopa Rothar -

Not just mountainbikers choice, exceptionally knowledgable and expreienced in road bikes also (they do a lot of business with some of the better Munster based race clubs). It's the best bike shop I've ever dealt with. Period. Great attitude (there's nothing that can't be ordered, built etc) & customer service in addition to being great mechanics. The interweb gets my small change but they get all my big purchases.

I've been meaning to get around to posting up an advert cos I have two spare pairs of ' Schwalbe Stelvio Raceguard 700x23 Black, wire bead non-folding' tyres to trade or sell. 3 of the 4 tyres are unused, one has been used for literally 30 minutes.

I'm in Dublin but let me know if you're interested (they are non folding though so postage mightn't work) and we could work out a decent price and I'll setup an ad if needed to tie in with the policy on here.

I was in "The Bike Shop" (aka Joe's!) today and if it's not too late he has Stelivo's for €22 and Ultremo's for €29 which seems quite good actually.

Off topic: he had Vittoria Evo Corsa CX tubs for €50 which is hard to beat online. I saw some 09 Mavic Aksium's for €160 and Ksyrium Elite's for €360 which I will probably be going for. I must give him more business in future, he is really making an effort to do good deals these days (matchng and even beating online on most occasions I have come across, fair play to him! It's about time someone did it.)
