Turkish property

    Does anyone know what the property situation is like in Turkey. I'm specifically interested in the Mahmutlar/Alanya area. A friend has an apartment out there and is thinking of selling. Is the market out there the same as here ?

    I would imagine it is the same as pretty much everywhere else, down, down, down.

    Also, buying property abroad, especially outside of the EU is always a risky business. As is buying property from a friend.

    Whizz, I'm not actually thinking of buying from my friend. Apologies if I misled you. I posted because he told me that he is thinking of selling and I told him I'd check on Boards if anyone had any recent experience of selling over there.
