Just finished college degree in Business Studies where I got a 2.1

Accountancy would be my preferred choice but due to having to undergo an operation after exams I have not been able to seek employment till now.

I understand there is next to no vacancies out there now so any tips???

    Thanks.

Don't be like this guy. ;)

In seriousness, finding a job now will certainly be difficult. Are you just interested in regular ol' accounting, or would you like to get into auditing, financial management, etc...

You could do a Masters programme. Most colleges have at least one (usually more) financially geared post-graduate programmes, and you would be a prime candidate for entry with a 2.1!

    Good luck in any case!

Thanks. I'm thinking of just regular accounting at the moment...I haven't applied for masters so I'd presume it would be too late now. I also graduated from an IT as oppossed to a university so I also presume University graduates would be the more reputable choice! There's also the cost of a masters which I don't know if I could afford unless they offer assistance. There's also the option of starting studies with ACAI without employment....has anybody done this route?
