    Hi,

I'm 16 and I have a great interest in Medicine. So, I was just wondering, from your knowledge, would there be any chance of a 16-year-old getting any Summer Work in a hospital? I wouldn't mind at all if I wasn't paid-I'd just love to be working in hospital and of course, getting experience!

I know there isn't much chance of me getting a job in a hospital-but I just need to try!! Thanks so much for reading this and if you have any ideas, please reply!!

what do u have in mind? i did a few weeks voluntary as a care assistant when i was younger. i work in the laboratory. you could try sending your cv to the laboratory manager in a few hospitals with a cover letter explaining that you would like experience. There are usually 5 main labs histology, biochemistry, haematology, blood transfusion, microbiology. You can find more information on the hospital websites. it may be useful applying to each lab as well to increase ur chances.
