Went on to an online dating website for the craic and started to chatting to a few people without any seriousness. Liked one girl and kept chatting and chatting every night....the two of us love talking to each other and get on great. The only problem is that it is a long distance relationship. She lives in england and currently doesnt have the funds or time to visit ireland and I am the same in the same boat. We can spend hours talking to eachother and we both realise that there is something there...It's driving me crazy, what should I do? Should I cut it off now? Am I just thinking that it is better than it is because there is that bit of excitement not having actually met her? Has anyone been in the same situation?

I got to know my OH on the intarwebs and was teetering on the edge of falling in love for ages. It was a wonderful time, I mean it's mindblowing now that I have fallen (even if still in a LDR, but at least we get to see each other every 2 weeks at least), but it was a time with joys and fun all by itself. I'd suggest: Enjoy, have fun, see if you continue to feel that you two belong together, and some time you'll have the chance to meet up and see where you can go from there. Are you using the full range of options available to you? videochat and stuff? because that'll make it a tad easier and help avoid any unpleasant surprises.
