O2 Ireland settings for MMS?

    Hi folks,

Can someone confirm for me the MMS settings below for an iPhone?

I've jailbroken / unlocked (redsn0w/ultrasn0w) an AT&T 3G iPhone at 3.0 and it's running on an O2 sim now. (A pay monthly sim.) Everything bar MMS is working. It can receive MMS messages but it can't send one. (The symptom is that it goes all the way to the last bit of the "sending" progress bar and then fails.)

These settings are the same as a regular O2 3G iPhone and were the ones that appeared when the O2 sim was put in the phone, but is there anything else I need to set?

    thanks in advance!

Settings... General... Cellular Data Network... MMS

    APN - "internet"
    Username - blank
    Password - blank
    MMSC - "http://mmsc.mms.o2.ie:8002"
    MMS Proxy - "62.40.32.40:8080"
MMS Max Message Size - "307200"
MMS UA Prof URL - blank

I have the following which work fine with O2 Ireland:

    APN - "open.internet"
    Username - gprs
    Password - gprs
    MMSC - "http://mmsc.mms.o2.ie:8002"
    MMS Proxy - "62.40.32.40:8080"
MMS Max Message Size - "307200"
MMS UA Prof URL - blank

My phone's originally unlocked and running 3.0 firmware.

The settings at the bottom are working for send/receive MMS.
Full details below but as you mentioned the APN etc are missing from the screenshot and need to be entered.

Thanks to Jellysms.com/blog for this and their free tethering

Check to see if your MMS settings are correct in the iPhone

SETTINGS > GENERAL > NETWORK > CELLULAR DATA NETWORK

    O2_ie_MMS.jpg

    Cellular Data
    APN internet
    Username iphone
    Password password

    Visual Voicemail
    APN internet
    Username iphone
    Password password

    MMS
    APN internet
    Username iphone
    Password password
    MMSC http://mmsc.mms.o2.ie:8002
    MMS Proxy 62.40.32.40:8080
    MMS Max Message Size 307200
MMS UA Prof URL (blank nothing inputted here)

VERIFIED WORKS BOTH FOR SENDING & RECEIVING

    Thanks folks,

Do I need to reboot the phone on changing these settings or do they take effect immediately?
