I'm starting to do alot more cycling....sportives etc so I'm thinking about upgrading to better bike...was looking at a focus Cayo or a trek 1.9. Any opinions on either of these bikes or any other suggestions would be appreciated. My budget would be maybe 1700 or so

I'd also consider Wilier Mortirolo, or a Planet-X (this or this).

Lots more here.

I wouldn't buy the Trek, but it's good enough for Lance Armstrong etc.
