It uses a standard laptop 2.5" SATA drive - maximum available drive at the moment is 500GB (Seagate is working on a 640GB model, but this is difficult to find/expensive currently). 320GB is a pretty sweet spot size/price wise at the moment - you can also use 7200RPM drives instead of the 5400RPM that's currently in your MBP - these will be faster but noisier... Some drives you can use:

I personally like and use Western Digital drives - make sure you don't choose a drive that has its' own built-in anti-shock protection though, these are known to cause problems in MBPs/MacBooks.

Personally, I'm gonna fork out for the 500GB Seagate 7200rpm Momentus which seems to have good reviews in working with MBP's (either one without a sensor or otherwise I'll disable it) - any 2.5" drive you get, just make sure the drive is no more than 9.5mm high otherwise it won't fit (unless you have a 17" MBP AFAIK?)
