    Hi folks,

Myself and the OH are heading up to Ikea to get some furniture for the baby's room. While up there though, we were hoping to head to some of the local baby shops. Are there any shops people would recommend?

We'd be looking for general stuff like clothes and bedding and toys etc.

Just back from Belfast after what one could only describe as a 'shopping spree'! We went to Mothercare off the Shore Road first and bought a few things. We then went to Babies R Us and saw the same bottle washing thing for £40 less than the one we got in Mothercare.

After this we went to Victoria Square to Momma's and Papa's, got some clothes and a baby seat and a floor play blanket type thing with some toys attached to it. On the way home we stopped off at Sainsbury's and bought a whole heap of nappies and Gripe Water (which apparently you can't buy down South) along with three bottles of wine of which I have already opened one to quell the shock.

I'd say though we saved a fortune!
