Great value at 'Best'

I wouldn't normally take an interest in fashion and dress, but after doing some shopping today I felt compelled to comment here.

I got 3 pairs of pants (1 "brooklyn" style, 1 "soho", 1 "blue jeans") and three casual shirts (all Tommy Hilfiger) for €305 at the 'Best' store in Mahon Point, Cork. For once - the first time in years actually - I feel like I got a bang for my buck. Quite pleased with myself. Anyone else noticed if things have gotten cheaper lately?

I agree with you about the bang for the buck, customer power!

As for Best, they tend to do nice pieces. Their Lacoste and Fred Perry selections are always solid, and you can score a good suit in Best at a very reasonable price for the quality you're getting. Shops like Best (and even shops like Urban Outfitters and the like) will have to either drop the prices or ultimately drop staff/close up shop. The market for designer clothes, nice as they are, is actually a small enough one, and it will dry up in no time if they don't do their part to encourage sales.

Yes, a lot of the Best stores in Dublin seem to have constant sales on. Sotck up lads!
