Just wondering what people would suggest as regards a new 3 wood, drove over my own last week and smashed the thing
    :( ...

I was using an old thing that was of none of the big brands it was 15* and suited my eye perfect.

Was looking at the Ping G10 which has had decent write up, TM Burner or someone suggested the MD Golf Superstong 3W for a fraction of the price of the other two

    Any suggestions welcomed

    cheers

I bought the new MD superstrong driver recently and am very impressed. Thinking of buying the 3 wood also as it's much better value than Ping/Callaway/Titleist etc in my opinion. MD website is worth a look for the reviews in today's golfer and golf world.

Both clubs you mention are good. Try to get somebody to advise on the best shaft for you.

    Ping G-10 15.5 degree is a gem.

A ping g10 would look better in the bag but if u like the look of and feel confident with it then you would be saving money buying an md than a g10

I picked up a Ping G10 15.5 in McGuirks in Blanchardstown a few months ago for E70 2nd hand in perfect condition. The new ones were there for E160. I got it after seeking advice here and being pointed in the direction of Ping. Very happy with it. Even though its 15.5 degrees i have developed (un-intentionally !!) a low ball flight with a slight fade.

Went for the Ping G10 15.5*, bought it yesterday and put it to use staright away and have to say it is definitely worth it, very forgiving club and when you crack on the sweet spot it goes a long way..

MD Golf Drivers/Woods/Irons and Putters all stocked in Green18 in Sandyford, near the Beacon Hospital.

MD consistently gets good write ups in the Golf magazines!
