What strength line should you use for trolling for trout and does colour of the line matter?

It all depends..what are the size of trout you intend to catch ? 1lb or 10lb ? Yes line colour matters, Fluoro gets more hits than mono, but you really need to give more information

    The Grinner Knot.
Best for tying a line to an eyed hook, or a swivel.

dont bother your arse with mepps , you'll catch feck all.

Get some tazmanian devils , rapalas in 7cm , rainbow , brown trout , black and gold , husky jerks in different colours.
