    Lads,

Can'y make it tonight but enjoy that spin from the Nags head down. any loose fillings should be well shhok out and if you're looking for a few spare water bottles they'll be there too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,322 ✭✭✭killalanerr

their was an incident involving 4 riders on a fast decent, all of them required treatment 2 were treated at the scene and 2 transported to Beaumont as a precaution,

hope all are OK. I think one of our own Boardsies was involved.

How did the rests of us fare? I nicked 6th spot, so no longer the league leader :(

I had loads of fun :) .... pposted my race report in a seperate thread. Mick sounded fine when we spoke last night. His Dad said he was going to have an 8 hour weight in A&E

Alright lads, don't be on here too often but thought I'd let you know I'm fine this morning.

Only waiting 4hrs in A&E in the end, face is a bit smashed up and my head is still groggy but the body and the bike seem fine. Teeth are intact which is the main thing after landing face-first! Thanks very much for bringing the bike home Scott, much appreciated. Crash occurred at 60km/h according to the Powertap, could've been much worse. Only three of us came down, first lad stayed upright.

Oh and to anyone reading this, wear a helmet. This is the second time in three months it's saved my life.

Thats wasn't my sister that was the girl who lives in the train station. She says, "Hi, she'll never forget you".

@Billy Whizz: glad to hear nothing is broken. It was a bit un-nerving ripping past the corner and seeing you all bloodied and bruised. We thought about selling your bike on ebay, but then realised if someone started asking about how many times it was crashed... well, we didn't wanna deal with the hassle.

Dunno, pretty tired today. Didn't have much in the tank this morning.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 305 ✭✭Billy Whizz

The Oakleys are 100% intact, unbelievable. Great that the bike is grand as well, I know at least one of the bikes was a write-off.

You don't know how tempting it was to make your rear wheel "lost"

Ah I'll tell you next week, wouldn't be fair.

We had you in our sights despite the 1:30 handicap. Just 40secs back at the Nag's head.

That bike has had some highs and lows alright. I like to say it gives it some character ;)
