Acrows: Hire or Buy

    Hi all,

    Got slabs placed yesterday for my 1st floor and now need about 25 Acrows for a period of a month...
    What I was wondering was is it cheaper to buy these now than hire them...

    So far I have got one hire quote of 4 euro per week per Acrow...so that would roughly cost 400 + Vat....
    can they be bought cheaper I wonder?

    Hi Technophobe

    I recently hired 25 acrows @ €1-50 per week per acrow for my build (Roscommon area). Big difference in that and €4.
    I know its not the biggest chunk of money you'll spend but I say keep checking out tool hires and you should get a better hire price.
    I didn't consider buying them btw.
