    Tough choice, they're both very good GBBs. My 226 is still on the go since December '06 nothing has broken on it yet. Masada lost his KWA/KSC G17 in a field at a skirmish. It was found a year later and still works and had gas in the mag!

    Both have a good few of after market parts but the Glock has alot more.

    If your using it for shirmishing, the Sig is a good bit heavier than the Glock so you'll need a good holster for it.

    Overall from owning both I think the Glock is the best buy even though I like the Sig more.

    In the words of Boris the Blade, " Heavy is good, heavy is reliable, and if it doesn't work, you can always hit him with it" :pac::pac:

    I've got the 226, excellent pistol, never an ounce of trouble, nice crisp blowback, accurate. Hop is a bit of a pain to set though

    I find sig handguns horrible to hold personally, personally i'd have the glock

    i've held the sig before and have to say yea the grip feels a bit weird.
    Right,now money wise,Glock=€95 and P226=€115 so i terms of money which is better value for what your getting?
    and thanks for all your posts:)

    GLOCK= FAIL.
    SIG= MAYBE
    1911= EPIC WIN
    The Sig looks nicer than the Glock, therefore no matter what, the Sig must be purchased(or a 1911).

    If the Sig is good enough for the Wing and the U.S. Navy SEALs its good enough for you. Nuff Said:D:D:D

    Depends on what you want it for. If it's for plinking out back or just something to have, go for the Sig Sauer. If it's a skirmishing pistol you want, go for the Glock.

    The Sig is that bit more satisfying in it's build, with the full metal frame, chunky body and satisfying sound.
    The Glock, however is ugly and has a weaker kick. That said, it's also the better perfomer by far, with much better accuracy, considerably higher gas efficiency, a lighter frame (important skirmish point, especially if you're using a thigh holster) and a faster cycle.

    I love Sigs. I really don't like Glocks. I think they look almost as bad as 1911's. I also don't like Range Rovers but they've got one hell of an engine and they do everything you ask of them, and more. My KWA Glock 17 has been at my side since the day I got it about two years ago and has caught many a person unaware with it's range and accuracy on the field. It has a permanent place in my SERPA on my leg, to the detriment of considerably more expensive and fancy GBB's from my collection.
    Nothing has rivalled it for me yet.

    one of the things that attracts me to the Sig is that if i wanted to do a SAS type of thing the Sig with a Mp5 would look well.
    Now,i have always like the look of the Glock and is is also cheaper then the Sig so i am even confusing myself:D.Well i have until tomorrow to decide.
    I just want to make sure i dont but something thats s**te.

    What ever your choice or product. Its great fun them
    GBB pistols. If you skirmish, fire in your back garden or
    simply collect its a little bit of pleasure to actually have one.

    At the end of the day, its your money, you're carrying it and you're shooting it.

    Just a note on skirmishing it, I use the sig all the time, its grand with a good holster

    ah yea there a lovely piece alright:).i thought that the Glock just didnt really have a kick to it and the Sig wasnt in stock and the i got a deal with the MEU so in a way i'm even happier with my choice as i love 1911s.
