Went to see his show last night. I love that man. I think he really enjoyed the reaction, he did about 5 encores.

Damnit, I really want to go see him but cannot source a ticket. :(

Was at the show last night. Not bad but first half was marred by some really rubbish heckling that put him off a bit. Second half was much better. The musical bits are by far the best

I thought the 2nd half was better too. That would have annoyed me with heckelers. It's not really a heckley type show.

Agreed. Some funny crowd interaction led to everyone thinking they were 'hilarious' and shouting out daft sh*te. Plus - why did some many people need to go to the toilet during the first half? Some of the weakest bladders to ever represent their country!

Great 2nd half though. Did you catch him coming back out to dance to Talking Heads and grab his bottle of Malibu while everyone was leaving? Loved it.

Incidentally I was in Brogan's pub last night and he was in there. Swapped a couple of jokes with him just as the Michael Jackson news came on the TV. Weird timing but I got to talk to Bill Bailey! :D

I was at the Wed night show, and wasn't hugely impressed to be honest.
I thought he was good...but not amazingly great.

His first 5 minutes on stage were awful. I was thinking to myself "where the hell is this going....?".
His jokes about the BNP kinda died too, being an Irish audience.

His second half was heaps better though. Loved all the songs :)

    Too much heckling though!

Don't think I'd go see him again though.

Roll on Sept and Dylan Moran :)

I thought the Black Hitler gag was brilliant, my favourite joke of the night.

are you kidding me, the wednesday show was amazing, i was front row centre and it was possibly the best gig ive ever seen (and ive seen ALOT of stand up), and the heckles werent excessive, they only heckled when he asked them to, and then he did brilliantly with them, oh and then after the show this happened:

Sweet, got myself a ticket thanks to Ionapaul.

Just wondering if there were many available outside the gig on any of the other nights, a mate is hoping to come along.

Wow! It sounds like we were at different shows! haha
There's no way I'd say it was the best gig I've ever seen....I don't think I'd even put it in my top 10 to be honest.
It was a good show, but not amazingly great really.
    Just my opinion :)

I'm hoping Dylan Moran in Sept is way better :)

That's brilliant that you met him afterwards though! :)

    Last nights show was brilliant.
No arseholes in the audience, great atmosphere and it seemed like Bill had a great time himself. Everyone dancing on the stage at the end was great.

A few posters here would do well to read the Forum Charter regarding ticket sales. Regardless of how well intended.

Was at the gig on Saturday night, hugely enjoyable. As well as being very funny, the show is great entertainment too. Probably the best gig I've ever been at tbh.

I was asked the customary "anyone buying or selling tickets" by a few "gentlemen" outside the gig on Wednesday night.

really? thats strange coz i wasnt approached by one, having said that i didnt que outside the venue so maybe thats why i didnt spot them! (i never understood why people que for a seated gig)

Top shelf in the Olympia is usually unreserved seating, maybe that's why they were queuing?
