Red faction or infamous?

Help me decide.

Havnt played Red Faction, from the ad it doesnt appeal to me, but I have InFamous and I thoroughly enjoy it. Its a good length and theres a ton of different powers in it. That being said, I am a bit biased as Im a comic geek, so the whole super powers thing appeals to me.
I would definitely reccomend it.
Also if you decide to get it, theres a regular edition and a special edition. I got the special edition which includes a different box, some artwork and an extra downloadable power you can only get from the special edition. It was only a fiver extra from the regular edition I think so its not that much extra.

You can download the demo for each of the games from the psn store, but inFamous is a really great game imo.

I adore inFamous and rented out Red Faction straight afterwards. I found Red Faction enjoyable enough, but found it slightly repetitive and had a few small frustrations with it after Infamous, but it's a good solid game and depending on how much you'd enjoy inFamous, you might get more play out of Red Faction with the multiplayer aspect and stuff.

I'd go with Infamous, but either way you'll be happy I'd say.

Both fall into the same traps of repetitive missions god how i got sick to death of terror busses on infamous or transporter missions on red faction but they are side missions and dont need to be done really.

Red faction is a great game very solid with few problems and a good multiplayer, Infamous is good while you are playing it but quite easy and id say after 2 maybe 3 nights you will have finished it i know i had it finished and im not a super fast player. It has no multiplayer and very little replay value tons of glitches but is still pretty good fun. Red faction is a 9/10 while infamous ( now that the fan boys have settled ) is a 7/10 no more than that.

I would say rent infamous as it will only take a few nights to clear and buy red faction im still playing that long after infamous and prototype are gone by the way side.

I didn't find inFAMOUS half as repetitive as Red Faction or especially Prototype, mainly because I thought there was a good variety of side missions. I just enjoyed playing infamous so much that I didn't find them that much of a slog, except the side missions where you have to remove the surveillance devices, some of them annoyed me.

What didn't help Red Faction is that I went straight into that from playing infamous and was getting an open-world game hangover. It's still a really solid game though.

No way is Infamous just a 7 out of 10 for me, I'd have it closing in on a 9, maybe not quite a 9. Not a fanboy either, unless you mean fanboy of good games, then yes, shockingly enough I'm a fan of Infamous. I'm still playing Infamous the odd time, but unless you love it you will more than likely get mroe play time out of Red Faction.

As Red Faction is meant to have a decent online component, I would buy this option.

InFamous is a fantastic game, a touch repetitive but the controls and gameplay are fun. However, it is a little short. With no online function, and if you can only afford one, get RF and rent inFamous for a weekend.

i have red faction and its excellent, the graphics are nice and the storymode is very good but the best part is the online, its very very good highly addictive u have special backpacks that have special abiltities like a jet pack and another one that makes u move very fast. Get red faction, the game will last longer and has a massive explorable area on the single player mode. Infamous wont last once its played its over.
