I've just been thinking about this for the last while. Who would you pick in your hurling dream team?

Mine would be something like this.

    1. Brendan Cummins
    2. John Gardiner (out of position I know but he can hurl anywhere)
    3. Noel Hickey
    4. Ollie Canning
    5. Tommy Walsh
    6. Brian Hogan
    7. JJ Delaney
    8. Shane Mc Grath
    9. Cha Fitzpatrick
    10. Ben O'Connor
    11. Henry Shefflin
    12. Eoin Larkin
    13. John Mullane
    14. Joe Canning
    15. Eddie Brennan

That's my team anyway. It's a very tight call between Eddie Brennan and Noel Mc Grath for corner forward but I just picked Brennan on the basis that he's performed excellently for so long and Mc Grath is only in his first year (although he does look like an outstanding talent)

What's your thoughts on my team and what's your team?

I would have to agree with most of your team, my only real gripe is Shane McGrath at midfield. He's in great form at the moment, but still has a bit to go until he reaches the level of KK'S midfield pairing or even that of Cork's. I tossed a coin between Ollie Canning and Declan Fanning at left corner back. Both are excellent man markers, but i feel Fanning is probably the country's most under-rated defender. The fact that Tipps Eoin Kelly cant even get into the starting 15 shows the real strength of this team.

    Here's my team:

    1. Brendan Cummins
    2. Michael Kavanagh
    3. Noel Hickey
    4. Declan Fanning
    5. Tommy Walsh
    6. Brian Hogan
    7. JJ Delaney
    8. Tom Kenny
    9. Derek Lyng
    10. Cha Fitzpatrick
    11. Henry Shefflin
    12. Eoin Larkin
    13. John Mullane
    14. Joe Canning
    15. Eddie Brennan

    Subs:
    1. Damien Fitzhenry
    2. Ollie Canning
    3. Sean Óg O'hAilpín
    4. Seamus Callinan
    5. Eoin Kelly (Tipp)

Dotsy O'Callaghan Dublin. He is excellent hurler and playing with any of the "bIG" counties he would make a huge impact.

You'd also have a case for Jackie Tyrrell, Aidan Fogarty, Richie Power, Lar Corbett, Paul Curran, Ben O'Connor and James Young.
