It has been about 3 months since a car was burnt out in the car park behind Grimes and still no sign of them coming to clean it up after getting numerous phonecalls about it - bits of glass and metal everywhere
Looks like a pure and utter disgrace!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My mates car got broken into and blazed there one night.

No the only one by the dozens of scorched parking spaces there.
Bad place to park overnight. Youve been warned.

With all the recent installations of CCTV around the City, I really think that the car park should have had a few cameras installed. They're making plenty of money from parking tickets and while I know that cars are parked at their owners liability, that shouldn't mean it's a free-for-all for thugs and scumbags to vandalise and destroy cars without fear of punishment.

its bad alright, think we had another thread about this not too long ago. I really like the idea of cctv being down there although i doubt that would stop them. Shower of melvins

Its been that way for a good while now, well before the elections anyway. CCTV needs to be installed there badly, for the sake of the cars if anything.

Some person called Ultimate Chin said he liked to call the car park TIM in the last thread. Probably for the reason gscully mentioned above. People had so many different names for the car park, Ultimate Chin felt he could tell us what he liked to call it. It's unique :D

surely it's the responsibility of the car owner to remove the car.

Could the car owner be charged with Littering???

Tis not ment as an insult to injury it's just a general inquiry. Wouldn't the nice insurance people want it to investigate, or do they just rely on the police report.
