Meanwhile, South Africa Rugby have confirmed that Lions lock Nathan Hines has been cited for an alleged dangerous tackle during the match.
The Australia-born Scotland international faces a disciplinary hearing on Wednesday after the alleged incident went unpunished by referee Alain Rolland.
He becomes the first Lions player to face possible disciplinary action, with the 10-match tour having just two games remaining.
Hines is an outside candidate to make the Lions' match-day 22 against the Springboks at the weekend.

Bad news for Hines, didn't see it myself but that could be his tour finished.

I reckon it was probably his tackle that came just after Flutey's monster hit.

Just saw it again on Sky Sports News, there wasnt much in it, he lifted the legs to drive and the player was heading to the floor fast anyway so the legs went higher than his head. Thats my opinion.

Was there a reaction from the SA players at the time?

No re-action, If the ref saw it it would of been a penalty and a yellow card would of been harsh even. Any kind of ban here would be very OTT I think.

Nathan Hines in dirty play shocker!

Seriously, I hope he gets cleared, didn't look bad at all to me.

There was a reaction from a couple of SA players, they weren't happy with it. Didn't see much in it myself, would be harsh to be suspended for it.

lol, yeah. I kinda feel sorry for him - I was on the bandwagon after the ROG choking incident which subsequently was proved to be not his fault.

After seeing highlights of the game it seems harsh to pick his tackle out as a transgression, because there was a lot of big hits in that game.

Very harsh to be fair, the only thing is at least it didnt happen to a guaranteed starter.

One week ban a bit rough!

This seems a bit like double standards. I don't think anyone including commentators and posters here saw it yet the Southern Kings game where there was stiff arms high tackles late tackles galore and not one single sighting.

It was when he creamed the scrum half really late i think

Is that true?, that it was 'proved to be not his fault'?. I musta missed that. I often wondered what it'd be like on this tour were Hines and ROG be asked to share a room.
