B&Q are selling this an 18V dewalt drill including 2 batteries charger and case for 117. Looked a good spec to me. It's says half price on the display.

Also seen a matika on special at 112 from 236Euro.

Not sure of the model # on either.

I'd go with the matika as it has a 13mm chuck where as the dewalt has a 10mm chuck.

    Makita is 8391DWPE3

Comes with 3 batteries (ni cad) and a fast charger

    Good Drill, no complaints yet

Got it for €99 a couple of weekends ago when they had there 15% off if

    you spend over €50.

    Sorry forgot to post it!!

I have both the Makita with the 3 batteries and the DEWALT 18v Drill, between the 2 I'd go for the DEWALT, but both are great guns.

I bought the makita and I'm sorry I didn't go for the Dewalt. The clasps on the case broke in the first few days and a few days after that it snapped in two after falling off a radiator. I was also disapointed with the torque from it, my old B&D was more powerful

It's a 13mm chuck...I checked that on the spec..It also has the led glow light, like the later versions of the Matika have.

Yep, I picked one up for the old man in BnQ last week... Seemed to be better than the Makita, its smaller n lighter n the led light on it is actually damn handy...
