Am a resident down in a little beach in Fountinstown a little bit out of COrk. Just went for my nightly walk and the beach is destroyed in empty beer cans, water bottles, rubbish...Irish people especially Cork people are disgusting. Drives me mad as it just ends up back in the ocean(I did pick some of it up). Filthy yobs - karma - hope it comes back well and good to you all

Not just fountainstown...Mville beach has been trashed every night for years by non-residents...loads of Cork city skangers come down to drink, light fires roar and shout all night and feck off (although a local pub selling cans to anyone doesn't help)...Years ago the locals would not have put up with that crap...nobody seems to give a ****e anymore!:mad::mad:
I don't live there anymore but am a frequent visitor and it really pisses me off...hopefully the lack of cash for braindead yobs will calm things down.

Once again proves were one of the dirtiest races in Europe. I blame the 1)parents and 2) the irish educational system.

    1) Because they spawn kids with the same CGAF selfish mindset when it comes to things like the environment

    2) While good work has been done at primary level level(thanx mainly to An Taisce green flag programme) its not reinforced or built on at secondary level when Teenagers are at their most influenential stage going into adult life. The curriculum is a totaly failure here given that environmental degradation world-wide will be the biggest challenge to mankind this centuary
