Can i download apps without my iphone

    Hi all,

    3GS on the way friday so i was thinking of downloading a few apps in advance so i can just pop them over when i get it.

    So can i do it in advance. All free ones for the moment !!!

    Will they just sync over when i connect the iphone ???

    normally i would say yes, but not sure if you never actually synched the iphone with itunes before. Does it let you save them as ipa files?

    English please:D

    I haven't a clue. I just connect and sync with my ipod i don't do file extensions unless its for music or video.

    The iphone apps are all new to me.

    Try to get some from the itunes store and see if it lets you. If it does, they'll get loaded on to the phone when you sync it.

    Yep, you can download the free Apps thru iTunes, it will automatically synch and add the apps when you attach your iPhone.
