i know the test results were delayed at the request of Ramzi for the b smaple to give his defence a chance to prepare their case but the date was brought back to the 18th of June however i have been unable to find any word on it. Anyone have any info on this as it seems fairly unusual to be kept this hush hush about it

I think it was the actual tests that were delayed rather than announcing the results. I read they take a few days so maybe they're not quite finished.

Can't comment on whether it's usual or unusual as I don't normally follow drug test results closely. Also, results aren't usually announced at all until after the B sample is tested so most people don't realise there's a result to wait for.

Not usually official word but like most things word leaks out. There is a hearing by the IOC to be scheduled on the day of the B results but no word on either and this is five days after the testing of the B sample

I read it takes three working days which would have been yesterday. Don't know how reliable that was but it wouldn't given that it's a new drug, they might need to be even more thorough in their testing or if there are some inconsistencies they might want ot have explanations ready before announcing them. Maye Ramzi's an innocent victim.
