Anyone use this site? I recently went for a 40-issue subscription of Time Magazine yet my first copy only arrived today. Now I don't mind since I only signed up about 2 weeks however I'm wondering why it's came 2 days after it hit newsagents. Surely the point of subscriptions that you 1. save money and 2. get the issues early?

Wasn't expecting this and no mention of it at all in the site's FAQ's so just wondering what any other members here have experienced, most helpfully if they too have a Time sub from the site as well

That company head office is based in Shropshire (the website in Denmark by its IP address). Was there a UK postcode?

I subscribed to ‘The Week’ some time back, which hit the stands on a Friday in the UK. I normally got it on the following Tuesday, it should have been called “The Week After”

The An Post blamed the UK postal service – they in turn blamed An Post. It was a pity really as I thought it was a great mag.

Just checked there, UK Postcode so I think it will be probably each tuesday from now on. A bit rubbish to be honest, since it's a "news" magazine. Did you cancel your sub or see it through till the end?

Paid up front, so had to see it out the end!

And it's the real dilemma in the media industry (print). There is a huge necessity for news in print format, but timely – not hindered by sorting offices etc.

I appreciate there is the 'next big thing' with newspapers and Mags through e-readers. But I can't see really myself in my local with an LED tablet scrolling through the NYT! (My eccentricity is called into question enough in that establishment since that terrible misunderstanding last Halloween - the e-reader might tip them over completely the edge)
