    You know the people who are really nice and friendly but you have nothing in common with them to a point conversations are boring?

    A guy is texting me at the moment, who got me thinking about this, I wouldn't consider us close friends. I can't fault the guy he is really nice. But conversations are so confusing and frankly really boring. Anytime I try talking to him about something his replies sound bored and half the time don't make any sense like he isn't paying any attention. And he never has anything to tell me.

    I'm not asking for advice. Just wondering if many people have someone in their life like that?

    Yes but they are acquaintences, not friends. I avoid giving them much of my time.
