ok so i stole it from left4dead.

i just thought the forum was getting a bit quiet, and so i'd throw this together.

having heard nothing about an epidemic, or even any riots, you go on your holiday to san diego, california. the pilot discovers there's no reply from the american air traffic control, but due to a light fuel load, decides to land at the nearest available airport, somewhere in the midwest of america. the aircraft taxis up to an eeriely quiet stand, with a few ground crew around. some of the airports lights are still on, but theres little or no activity. being the brave man he is, the pilot disembarks to ask the ground crew to help, when they turn and eat his brains. the copilot and some of the crew go out to help, they too get attacked. the copilot makes it back, only just, bleeding heavily. recognising what is happening, you rush to the front, keeping the passengers as restrained as you can, and quickly explain to the copilot what he's about to become. he instructs you to the flaregun and .22 revolver that are in the cockpit. the fuel gauge in the cockpit reads empty, and the battery lights are indicating a low charge, but is still powering the a/c, lights and radio.

-you don't know how to fly [unless you actually do]
-6 rounds in the .22, no more.
-all air crew are dead, except the copilot, who will be in a matter of minutes.
    -no military personnel on board.
    - ~150 passengers
    - ~15 zombies on the tarmac, more visible in the airport.
    - regional airport, 1 runway, 6-10 planes [unknown status]

    go.

The pistol has unlimited ammo, but autoshotgun or machine gun is better. I climb on top of the lorry and reload by picking up different weapons - it's faster that way. I've seen others huddle in the corner, which worked well because they had a long clear view of what was approaching them.

i think you missed the point, just a bit.

Ask the co-pilot for any other useful info i.e. Radio codes/channels, sigs, etc.
Restrain him/her while asking, once turned use him/her as example to show other passengers how to take zombies down, by using something other than the gun.
Get access to luggage, make as many make-shift weapons as possible, distribute them. Switch off lights and A/C to keep energy. While having 2 people man the Radio searching for others.
Once equipped take out all Zombies seen, and search for others on the ground. Once relatively safe, check other planes for ammo, weapons, luggage, food, water, etc. Bring finds back to original plane.

Main objective is too take the airport building as a safe house. Once completed find and break into security, take weapons, arm others.
Use radios inside. Set up a 24hr watch around the airport.

Paint the 10 most important rules on a big wall/window with at least 1-2ft letters.

Constantly use radio to look for other survivors and use airport security/emergency vehicles to examine surrounding areas.

Every zombie met, gets it in the head.

You're a natural, I can tell! I would follow your lead up until you try to take the airport building. That seems doomed to fail imo. Depending on the surrounding countryside (airports are usually on the outskirts of cities), I would take everyone off into the countryside in order to get more supplies and to find a safe house somewhere. I think there would be less zombies this way.

Stay put, and use the plane as a safehouse: 1 entry/exit point 10+ feet off the ground!

Use athletic males 18-30 as scouts and set up a perimeter of burning useless lugage around the plane as z-ballers dont like hot-hot!

    Dispose of infected a.s.a.p

Keep 24hr guard of any entry point and watch for under carrage straglers.

    :D

Well my idea for the airport is that it is built to be secure. And to use scouting parties to find other locations.
Airports are bad to stay in as they would attract zombies sooner or later.
Usually anywhere where there is normally a lot of people around, are bad places to go to, or stay too long, e.g. Airports, train stations, business districts in cities, and of course shopping centers/Malls.

But one must always remember; No where is safe, only safer.

    go.

    I actually do :D:D:cool::cool:

all airports have a supply of fuel for at least a 2 weeks normal flights and 15% extra. Assuming the fuel truck hasn't driven off, or exploded I'd send a recon team out to find that. If possible I'd also try secure a smaller plane, 2~4 person Cessna. With that and the fuel I could do some local area recon (small planes have the same radio equipment as large jet transport planes), trying to find a military base or survivor group. In america finding a military base isn't that hard. once a confirmed safe base has been spotted I'd either shuttle the survivors there in the small plane or take the larger if it could land at safe zone.

For fun I'd taxi my Cessna around chopping up Zoms with the prop

most airports are secure thanks to the nice armed policemen that patrol it. a lot of airports have hundreds of doors to the tarmac or parking area, also a lot of airports are glass-fronted. their security is mainly due to policing.

still, the control tower building, or the fire station would be a good idea, seeing as how they're usually remote buildings on the opposite side of the field as the main building.

Nearly any plane will have a limited supply of food so at least you will not be rushed into making any poor judgment calls.

right take the .22 and keep the co pilot calm, pretend to address his wound and get him to keep talking once he repeats the same piece of info twice show the other passengers how to take care of a z in hand to hand, after this take some kind of strong material and make it into a rope. this'll be your entry/exit. you are now perfectly safe, keep everyone calm and deploy air bags if at all possible

get into the baggage hold and whip out the weps.... (we've all been on holidays and everyone knows someone who has breought back something dangerous.

make a team of scouts using the most mentally sound people (the ones who will automatically try and keep everyone calm. send them out (two or 3 at most) 1 with .22. 2. flare weapon found in cargo. 3. some other weapon/flare gun if everything goes ****.

their first mission'll be to go comandeer a vehicle and use it (as suggested in the zombie survival guide :P) use it as a lure. from there take out 6 z's with 6 shots (hopefully) and get back to the plane, when the z's begin standing under the entrance.... drop heavy **** on them :P
