    I think that when a member of a support group is referring people to their own group they should:

    1 Identify themselves
    2 Declare their position in the support group

    The above would allow readers to allow for the fact that they are only reading the point of view of the group and that the group may have an agenda i.e they want more members which may involve a payment and/or they want their message out as fact rather than opinion
