    Apparently. I know someone who did recently. She did miss a booster as a child (this is in England) but apparently you can still get it even if you have had them all.

    I'm no expert on that though, just going by what I've heard.

    90% effective generally AFAIK but lower here because of the poor level of herd immunity (total poulation increasingly covered but still only just above 70%).
    There is an mini-outbreak among students at the moment.

    Thanks for that. Mumps were the only reason i could find for the parotid gland almost seizing up on me. Ow.
    Better scurry along to the Docs then.

    mumps -especially in boys not nice
    (swollen glands can also mean very swollen testicles!!!!)

    Many people missed at least one booster
    Solution get the MMR-even if you are not sure the booster can do you no harm-mumps can!!!
