    Hey!

I need to book trains through this website: http://www.raileurope.co.uk/

However, they state that "only UK registered credit or debit cards will be accepted" and require a UK billing address for the transaction.

Would anyone smarter than I know of a way around this?!

    THX! :)

There is no way around it. You need a UK registered card and address.

I have read in some posts that it is possible for an Irish person to get a UK registered card if you open an account with www.ivobank.com .They have a virtual card that you can use online to shop.I think you credit it with funds directly from your Ivobank account. As far as the address problem goes with most cards it's possible to register them to a second address so if you knew someone in the UK or NI whose address you could use that might get you over that issue.During my thrawling the Internet on this topic that was as close as I came to a solution. It's very convoluted for a one off purchase though. If there's any better answers to this problem I'd love to hear them!

I had an Ivobank account, and your address is your address, not an alternate. It wouldn't get around the delivery problem either, as it'll not do a lot of good if they deliver to some place in the UK and then you need to get it posted to Ireland.
