    as someone with no major savings and thankfully free of debt, i was wonderin which i would be better to hav as back up in case of an emergency? a credit card or and overdraft in back account. and also what would you expect would be a decent limit on either. i just like to know which would be worth keepin just in case i needed to borrow money quickly for any reason, ie child get ill or car broke down. thanks a mil

    I would say get the Visa because it's too easy to eat into the OD without realising.
