    He left his club because he wanted to win the Champions league but was beaten by his old club in the next years final. The next year he eventually won the Champions League.

    At another club he won the UEFA Cup, the team he beat in the final, he then joined that summer.

    One player, four clubs. name them.

    Jean-Pierre Papin.
    Marseille (played for and then lost CL final to)
    Milan (lost and won Cl final with)
    Bayern (won uefa cup with)
    Bordeaux (moved to after beating in uefa cup final)
