Leave the spider there. He'll harm no one.

After a recent renovation all my previous spiders have been evicted and now I've flies all over the house. Up till then I had plenty of spiders with cobwebs which kept the flies at bay. Now I've to encourage the spiders back - it will save a fortune on Vapona spray cans :D

It is bad luck to kill a spider.

Try to catch him in a jar and release him down the garden,

I'm not going to kill it, on principle I don't kill anything i'm not going to eat, except for wasps and bluebottles.
However my missus is a really really bad arachnophobe, and I ain't great either so unfortunately "Legs" has to be evicted, still working out how as it's really REALLY quick
