Any recommendations for a mini pump that actually gets enough pressure into the tube to get you home. Most of them seem to be fairly feeble. Taping a full size pump to the seat tube at the moment! Alternatively has anyone experience (good or bad)with c02 inflators or would you recommend them? They would certainly be handier to carry.

Man that trick was class! Where did you pick that one up?

Anyway, I'm just wondering do many people use CO2 as their pump tyre inflator when out on spins? I was looking at getting this SKS Airgun which looks pretty neat and ain't that expensive at €18 including cartridge! Any of ye used this before? Any opinions?

Also, can the 5 pack of Airchamp Pro cartridges for €8 be used (even though they are for an Airgun) or do you have to use the specific Airgun 2 pack cartridges also for €8.16.

Like are there any differences between the cartrides, fittngs, attachments etc or are they all the same and cross-compatible? All I am seeing is 16g cartridges with different names working out at €1.63 each versus €4.08 each. You know which option I am leaning towards anyway, but is it possible to do this?

EDIT: Better question still, which is better: the Airchamp or Airgun? Would ye recommend either over the other considering they are the same price?

i presume the airgun requires threaded cartridges but is smaller, certainly must be without a cartridge...

i've the airchamp and a 5 pack of cartridges arriving tomorrow so can let you know how i get on unless someone has one already?
