Stuka flies in this warm weather

Anyone notice these little black flies that fall from the sky right onto you when outside? (was in Dublin city centre, sure its happening all over the country!)

I was sitting outside having a pizza yesterday and the fookers divebombed into some of my pizza.
When i went to sit outside a bar nearby, they even had the cheek to attack my beer!!

Couldn't even sit outside the gaff last evening enjoying the last of the sunshine for long as swarms of them came along with their kamakazi attacks.

Couldn't enjoy a walk this afternoon with the feckers crashing all over me, i'm sure i'm not wearing a sh1t magnet ;):D

Ba$tard things ruin the good weather and force humans inside!!

Other than to put up a mosquito type net to sit under outside, what can be done to enjoy the weather without them ruining it:confused::)?

I'd say they're just so stupid they've forgotten how to fly. I seen it happen to a bird today. Just fell right out of the sky.

I had a bee headbutt me on the way to lunch today...

count my blessings that he just gave a little nod and moved along and didnt escalate things with a stinging.

    *dont sting me bro!*

Amazing how one German word can paint such a vivid picture.

You can buy candles that give off a scent that will get rid of them, available in all good hardware stores.

Other than that you're going to have to start smoking.

I've had bites on my feet from a party 3 weeks ago, that are only now starting to fade! They went feckin purple whatever the feck bit me!

I've been painting a pretty expensive set of gates today...I only had the one side of them done when I looked back at the work and there's about thirty or more flies stuck to it
Was talking to my uncle yesterday...their back garden had an invasion of aphids yesterday afternoon...said he'd never seen so many, crawling on walls and windows...it's the humidity.

    LOL.

I was driving home from work just there. Lowered the windows at two sets of traffic lights and at each pair, one of those feckin flies darted across my face trying to make me crash!!

Its ridiculous, like under siege, can't do our business without being divebombed!!
