    Hi Guys,

Has anyone come across a name of a good tire lately? Im looking or a 700 x 26 for my giant FCR commuting bike. Should I replace both of the tires at the same time or am I ok just replacing the 1. Thanks!

    continental gatorskin
you can replace one or both, up to you, makes no difference. If only replacing 1, I'd put it on the front wheel and move the front one to the back, as is the law according to the good lord Sheldon

puncture free, harsh, slow, slippy in wet riding.

    Fixed that for you.

    Get Gatorskins, much more forgiving.

I third Gatorskins, I've ridden over glass with them, dusted them off after and still no problems! They're quite sticky, and don't wear much!

Yes they will fit; 23 or 25 is the width of the tyre in mm, so they're slightly narrower than what you have.

I'd go with 25 for a commuter bike, or 23 front and 25 rear.

Yes, either of those sizes will fit fine. 25c will be pretty indistinguishable to what you have now.

I've just put a 25c gatorskin on my Giant in place of the Kenda tyre. It bulges a lot less that the 26c Kenda and comes out of the brakes much easier too which is a big plus.

i got michellin eriliums, they are only €10 and have a nice retro look to them, not everyone would be into them but i find they still roll well for €10!
