I'm just looking to shift this, maybe one of you lot could replace the lenses with mesh.

Looking in and around the 15 euro mark.

Is it easy to breath (specially if your running a little, breathing heavily) ?
Do the lenses steam up?
Is it heavy?

And no, the lenses don't fog up because you don't breathe near them,
I'll post a pic of the inside of the mask to explain it better.

It's not too heavy at all, I've ran with it on, and I'm athsmatic. :pac:
And comfortable?
It is for me, and it's got six adjustable straps on the back, so even if you have a head like an hour glass it'll fit fine. :pac:

Here we are, you see the bit at the bottom?
That cups around your nose and mouth area and the rest is left out of the air.
It's lovely and rubbery so no problems there, fits tightly too so no swine flu for you. :pac:

nice gas mask, wish I'd been quicker off the mark.

A word of warning to Grumpy though, the lenses in most gas masks are not BB proof, so you'll need to think about reinforcing or replacing with mesh before skirmishing (if you were planning on using it at a skirmish) unless you want to run the risk of a bb/shards of glass to the eye.

Some masks do have tough enough lenses maybe T3h Windeh can let you know if he's tested it.

Not thread spoiling here, just thought you should know in case you were planning on skirmishing it.

Well just tested it point blank with a vsr and an M4A1. Both firing between .70-.80 of a joule. Fired at distance too, cracked off a few rounds at it point blank with a AEP (sub .40) even checked full auto from a meter.


Couple of scratches and one or two minor deformations but vision hasn't been obscured and seems to be well able for it. (Much more so than masks and googles I have bought from actual airsoft sites!!) Musta emptied about 300 rounds into it, including a few yesterday from a p90 firing at .90 of a joule.

Seems safe enough! The Warehouse should be fun next time I'm down.
