I'm travelling light for auditing tommorrow. I have a folder with notes, sample and past papers etc (but half of that I have never looked at). I'm bringing that along with the yellow book, the standards (for the ethics stuff only!!) and some grind notes (which are rubbish and more than likely I wont even use).

That Cosserat book is better off at home!!!!!

Details of International Accounting Standards may also be useful.

+1 to leaving Cosserat at home!!

I'm bringing all the books we were given RE: audit, have grind notes from the CGS which should hopefully help, have notes made out for most of the major areas (1-2 pages with the key points) and will probably bring my financial accounting book in case I need to refer to it for the treatment of some of the IAS's.

I'd say the two most important books will be the yellow ICAI book and the APB book for the E.S's and ISA's.

Probably should bring in an audit report as well if you can get one.

    Best of luck to everyone....
