    Hi guys
I had an accident with my laptop at the weekend~I left it beside an open window and it poured rain and the rain got into the keys

I left the laptop to dry out and now I am using it again the below is happening

~It is like I have SHIFT on all the time~ my numbers and commas and full stops dont work! Only the characters above them~ for example when I press five I get a percentage sign and nothing else

My caps lock is now backwards~ie when i have it on the caps are off and vice versa

~My Firefox now insists on opening new windows rather than tabs unless i specifically right click and choose "open in new tab"

Can anyone suggest anything to fix this?

Sounds like your keyboard is damaged. It will Probably have to be replaced. You could try and remove all power and leaving it off for a few days. might dry it out.

If it's a big name (Sony, HP etc) you should be able to buy a replacement keyboard online fairly cheap. Google it.
