I was up in dublin for the last couple of days and i played out in donabate and i really enjoyed the course. i'm a high handicapper and so were my golf partners, and i was delighted to see the wide fairways which gave me nice room for my hook or slice that i seem to love doin. the greens were very fast and there was nice carry on the fairway ( when i managed a good shot):D. All in all i was impressed with the course and like the way the comps were seperate from the visitors tees. i will be goin again soon. What ur taughts on this golf club.

I was out in kinsealy grange on friday and was very impressed with the set up out there and with the automated tees i could stay there all day. I would say that if kinsealy grange had these automated tees then it would be the best driving range in ireland and im very surprised it hasnt converted to them yet.

Donabate isn't a bad track at all, and I believe they have fierce cheap greenfees early in the morning or late in the day, around the €15 mark if I remember correctly from another thread.

As for Kinsealy Grange, quality set-up alright, best range around.

I'll have to throw my 2c in as it's my home turf!

Great value, 25e before 10am, 15e after 6pm all week, course is in good nick and the greens are lovely at the moment. All welcome!

You can also join pro rata at 30e a week for the rest of the year.

there are 40 odd bays at kinsealy, automated tees are €2000 a pop, 40x€2000=€80,000.
Given the recession and downturn in business i dont think kinsealy will be investing in those irrelevant novelty automated tees. id rather take my time than lashing thru a basket of balls.

Wow... Your first post is to resurect a near 3 year old thread, that hadn't even generated any interest back then!
