    http://amateur-boxing.strefa.pl/Championships/EuropeanUnion2009.html

Full results above. I see Saunders from England went on to win the Gold after
beating Sutcliffe 8-3 in the semi final. Saunders beat a very good Hungarian, Gyula Kate
in the final by 13-3, heavy score!

Kate was beaten by John Joe Joyce in Beijing and Kate then beat Joyce after that at
some tournament. He also had previous wins over JJJ.

Not trying to discredit O'Neill, but his score suggests he dominated and this
was the final, so we have to expect the Dane to be very useful.

From the Senior final a few months ago, O'Neill really struggled to beat
Stephen O'Reilly I think it was and I thought O'Reilly did enough and was hard
done by in the scoring. I wasn't much impressed with O'Neill in that
final, but maybe he's come good now!

Sure O'Neill is probly are best prospect realistically at next games hes been great internationally since a junior just he never won a Senior title with Egan and Sutherland there (and he better amatuer than Sutherland imo) sure he beat the Chinese bloke Egan lost to beforehand in a multinations so dont know what your smoking or what youve watched off the amatuers! Just a pity Frampton went pro for the amatuers but probly right decision for himself!

I wasn't impressed with him in the final of the seniors either, I thought he definitely won but he was given it a bit easy.

I was shocked when he was giving the boxer of the tournament award.
Okay I only got to see the finals, but unless he was outstanding in the rest of the tournament and Nevin was awful until he got to the final then it's just not right. It seemed more like a gift, for being so good and getting so little through the years, an appreciation for being the nearly man.

To be honest your dead right!!! I think they did give it to him just on past achievements and cause he finally got the Seniors didnt deserve best boxer! Frampton and Nevin were best boxers in it.
