    Hi guys!

    Without trying to give too much away, I'm going in tomorrow to a fairly well known business to pitch them an idea I think they might really like. It's my first time doing something like this so i'm looking for any and all advice. I've got my suit, a presentation and a great idea. Any other pointers?

    Thanks guys!

    One of the best tips I've ever got for presentations is this;

    1) Tell them what you're gonna tell them
    2) Tell them
    3) Tell them what you've told them

    Not sure how applicable it is to a pitch, but best of luck anyway!!

    Make sure you are eay to understand, know ur idea inside out, including any crazy left field questions they may ask. Be 100% confident in the idea and show it!

    Be straght to the point, dont give irrelevent information that they may dwell on. Answer all their questions before they ask them!

    Good luck, let us know how u get on.

    I find too many people forget about how the business they are pitching to will sell / make money from the product.

    So assuming you know & understand your idea then you also need to
    Understand their business.
    Understand their customer base.
    Understand where your idea/product fits into their business model.
    Understand where your idea/product can make their business money.
