    Hey,

So I got my xbox playing with my laptop,

I am on Perlico and the xbox is connected via an ethernet cable (yellow) to my router, with my laptop connecting wirelessly.

It is all working exceptionally smoothly surprisingly.

My question is this, what exactly am I doing?

My worry is that I am using up my download limit by streaming videos in this way, or do they share info over the network without using the internet, just as if I connected the two devices with an ethernet cable.

fuck I may not be making sense here.

The streaming of videos will be over a "home" network from your router, nothing to do with downloading content from the net. Just sit back and enjoy the wonders of modern technology!!
