    Right,
Meself and Rob Fowl are getting away from the wives going out for an evening spin to-morrow eve.
Was thinking of maybe Swords-Rolestown-Garristown-Back roads to Stamullen-Stamullen-Bog- Walshestown and back roads back to Swords.
Will do a map my ride later.

    Anyone in.Maybe 7pm from Swords???

Just wanna say thanks a million conor and brian, really enjoyed last nite. cant believe how well you's know them roads - they all looked the same to me! a good 62km all in all, a bit tired now today i have to say. think thats about where im at right now, started feeling tired towards the end. hope i didnt hold you's up at all. not sure im ready for the full 100k of the louth sportive so prob give it a miss and get a few training spins in over the weekend.

really learnt alot all already. and by the way i promise to do more work on the front the next day, was a bit nervous at first but got into it. hope to head out with you's again. company defo makes it easier

yeah was a nice spin. You didnt hold us up. Remember I was the one who punctured, 1st time to puncture on the road since Feb :( . In fact if anything you were waiting for me at the top of the 4 knocks and coming back from Ardcath ( a gradient I had completley forgotten about). An enjoyable spin.

I think i was waiting cause i put too much in too early, you were still flying at the end. that was some unlucky puncture, miss a pot hole/crater and hit a rock. hope you enjoyed the beer. i stuffed my face and collapsed into bed.

You should heart from the fact that Rob Fowl had to really work hard to drop you on the last climb. He is a strong rider.
I wouldnt take heart from dropping me on the uphill sections. A 2 legged blind dog would drop me on the climbs.

And yes I did really enjoy my baby's.3 of them. And into bed for my 1st 8hrs uninterrupted sleep since last Thurs.

PS get those clipless on. and get used them. You will be better for it.

T'was a long cycle up to the door of the house though watching her standing there waiting (these wimmin's have some sort of second sense)

Actually there's a groups of women in every neighbourhood who call each other when one of the husbands are seen......... I think we men need to start this to combat that 7th sense.
