Swimming in Limerick

    Just wondering does anyone know where is a good pool for swimming in Limerick City? Somewhere thats quiet and good for adult beginners?

    Options in Limerick would be:
    • Grove island, Corbally
    • University arena, Castletroy
    • St. Endas, Old Cork Road
    Grove island in Corbally might suit best for what you are looking for, but drive around and have a look at the three of them first maybe.

    I went to Grove Island yesterday. It was grand except I ended up covered in blue lint after. They must have someones blue jumper stuck in there water system somewhere:D

    I go there nearly every day and never seen that before lol. Grove is grand, at times it can be empty and other times it can be packed and lane swimming is tight especially if someone slow is in the fast lane doing breaststoke! :(
